Smart things to consider in choosing the best Smartphone

It’s that time again when you realize that you have to upgrade your mobile phone but you don’t know which one to choose from among the hundreds of mobile phones out there.

Here are some ideas on choosing which phone is best suited for you.

Budget:
The most important thing to consider in upgrading is how much you can afford to spent. In most cases you are going to be signing in a two year deal. So remember a free phone might seem tempting but if it cost 40$ a month that’s almost a thousand dollars over the period of the contract. You might also want to think about saving up and buying the phone outright and get a super cheap sim-only deal. It will save you a huge amount of cash overtime and you can have the freedom to upgrade whenever you want.

What you liked before:
Today’s smartphones can almost do it all. There are cameras, game console, satellite navigation, internet tablet and more in a tiny package. But you must really think about what features are the most important to you. Think about what is essential in your old mobile.
Did you spent ages trying to connect to the internet using non-smart phone? Was there a replacement with your cpmpact camera?
Many phones are adequate on some task but there are standout performers on certain categories. You must seek them out if you have a favorite function.

Brands are not important:
Remember the days when you’re a Nokia user for life? Don’t you feel the need to stay to a certain brand of phone because you know the system. However there are a few operating system floating around today so make sure to checkout the likes of Android, iOS and Windows has to offer before choosing a new phone.

Measure your pocket:
When touch-screen phones first emerged, they were designed to be the size of normal phones but without buttons. However screen sizes has been rapidly increasing to the point where 4-inch display is the norm. while it is good for movies and navigation make sure that you can operate the phone with one hand and plus the loss in pocket space.

Back to the future:
A few years ago a phone purchase is the end of the story but now constant updates to the mobile software are used to sharpen the phone functionality. Most phone brands are more active in terms of upgrades than the others. So make a research so you are not stuck on a smartphone that’s left on last year.
